Power comes from Mercedes-Benz's highly regarded 3.2-liter M104 DOHC inline-six, producing 228 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Finished in Black with Parchment leather, this SL320 has the classic color combination that suits the R129 exceptionally well. The upgraded AMG Hammer-style wheels give the car a more aggressive period-correct appearance while retaining the timeless character of the original design. Just as importantly, considerable attention has been paid to the power convertible-top system, with the soft-top hydraulic pistons already updated,an important consideration when purchasing an R129 today. The factory removable hardtop is included, allowing this SL to transform from an open roadster into a refined year-round grand tourer. This example distinguishes itself with a flawless CARFAX, 34 documented service records, multiple keys, original books, updated convertible-top hydraulics and only 51,000 miles. 1996 Mercedes-Benz SL320 Roadster 51,000 Miles Black / Parchment Leather 3.2L M104 Inline-Six 5-Speed Automatic Factory Removable Hardtop Updated Soft-Top Hydraulics AMG Hammer-Style Wheels Flawless CARFAX 34 Documented Service Records Multiple Keys & Books Shown by appointment.
